Members Spotlight: Equi’s Ice Cream and Park Farm Partnership

Equi’s Ice Cream have  partnered with local dairy Park Farm to reduce food miles. Straight from farm to factory.

Scottish luxury ice-cream maker Equi’s is proud to announce a new partnership with Park Farm to use their locally produced, fresh whole milk in their ice cream production. The partnership marks a huge step for two South Lanarkshire businesses to significantly reduce food miles, cut down on single use plastics and reduce emissions.

Equis  multi award winning ice cream has always been made with fresh Scottish milk and double cream, and this partnership further establishes our commitment to using locally sourced ingredients

Customers now rightly want to know the provenance and traceability of their food. Park Farm milk only travels a few metres from the farm to the new dairy so they can be completely transparent with their customers and show them exactly where their milk is coming from and how it is processed – even down to meeting the cows.
