    Errington make delicious farmhouse cheese on their farm in Lanarkshire.

    The Errington family has been making cheese since the early 1980's from their own flock of Lacaune ewes. In 2019 they bought some dairy goats and now make a selection of award-winning sheep and goats milk cheese including Corra Linn that won 'Best Scottish Cheese' at the World Cheese Awards in 2020, and their original Lanark Blue.

    Hillhead of Covington are a dairy farm milking 350 Holstein cows on the banks of the river Clyde in Lanarkshire.

    They make the famous Cows of Covington Farm Fresh Milk. People who taste it say, “it’s milk, just like it used to be!”

    They recently diversified and are now selling locally their own small batch pasteurised milk and milkshakes which have been hugely successful.

    The family started the dairy herd at Hillhead of Covington in 1996 and over the year they have built up the herd and invested in the farm.

    In 1915, Pietro Equi and his uncle Dante left Coreglia Antelminelli in Tuscany to seek their fortune. While Dante ended up in New York, Pietro got as far as Hamilton, where he started a cafe in 1922. Generations of the Equi family have been making their famous ice cream in their Hamilton factory ever since for both their own ice cream parlours and wholesale businesses.

    Owned by the New Lanark Trust, it means that every time you buy a cone or tub, you're contributing to the restoration and upkeep of the historic site.

    The Neilson family started milking cows at Park Farm in 1965. Since then, three generations have developed the business and this year, are building an on-farm dairy, and launching a doorstep delivery service, promoting sustainable agriculture, reusable packaging and reducing food miles.

    They have put together a collection of the best locally-sourced essential items from Lanarkshire including milk, eggs, bread, cheese, steak pies and other tasty treats. In June 2022 they launched their Farm to doorstep milk delivery service.
