In December 2022 the Scottish Tea House opened their own stunning Tea House within their tea garden at Dillarburn. A Tea House is an establishment which primarily serves tea and is a place to sit back, relax and watch the tea leaves unfurl.

The stunning building and dedicated function space at the tearoom is available for private hire. They specialise in tea parties, whether for a sophisticated small party, baby shower, birthday or a unique take on a business lunch or meeting. The Tea House is open Thursday-Sunday 10am-4pm so why not pop in and enjoy speciality Tea, Coffee, homemade scones and cake.

You can enjoy a Tea Tasting which is an introduction to tea, including tea history. You will learn the basics of tea brewing and taste six different teas from our fantastic selection. Tea covers a vast spectrum of flavours from delicate whites, to grassy green teas, complex oolongs, rich malty blacks and earthy puerh teas.

Alternatively book  Afternoon Tea which is a tradition which dates back more than 200 years when, struck by hunger pangs somewhere between lunch and dinner, the Duchess of Bedford invited her friends over for tea and ‘a light refreshment’. Now, some two centuries later the Scottish Tea House Afternoon Tea Menu has been inspired by the amazing food and drink producers of Lanarkshire Larder.
