Errington Cheese Opens a Cheese Shop

Award winning Scottish Cheese producer opens their own cheese shop on the farm.

Errington Cheese make a selection of award winning Sheep and Goats milk cheese including the  very popular ‘Lanark Blue’ and ‘Corra Linn’. The Errington Cheeses are considered to be among the best of Scottish Cheeses.

 Errington farm is located in South Lanarkshire at the foot of the Pentland Hills near Biggar. The family-run farm has 300 Dairy Lacaune ewes and 100 Dairy Goats.

They have just opened a small cheese shop in the farmhouse and you can come and taste and buy all their cheeses and a small selection of other farmhouse cheeses.

Through the viewing windows you can see the cheese being made and maturing. They are introducing a self-guided tour through the process from the sheep and goats, milking, cheesemaking and finishing with the maturation rooms.

They are talking through the process using interactive QR codes so you can listen if you wish or just look on.
