Multi award winning oatcakes, shortbread and preserves all made in Biggar.
The Orchard is a family-owned grocery in Biggar stocked full of farm produce, baking & preserves. Behind the scenes they produce a range of “Biggar Flavour” produce which is sold within the shop. They produce a variety of sweet goods including: cakes, traybakes, biscuits and scones.
The owners Jane and Ranald Brown have won numerous awards for their delicious cheesy oatcakes, shortbread and jams. Their award winning cheese scones are a must if you are lucky enough to stop in and visit.
They created their “Sunshine Boxes” during the pandemic but due to popular demand they are now available to be sent all over the UK. The Letterbox of Sunshine changes each week and are a selection of traybakes, brownies and biscuits. Their Biggar Boxes of Sunshine contain their award winning oatcakes, shortbread, preserves and traybakes or biscuits. Their packed biscuit range now boasts ten Great Taste Awards.
The Orchard provides a variety of Hampers which can bought online and sent throughout the UK.
