A community shop at Woolfords, Lanarkshire.

Set up in June 2021 following the success of running a larder during the pandemic.

After feedback from residents, Wat If? aims to provide the rural areas of Woolfords, Auchengray and Tarbrax villages, and surrounding hamlets, with a much-needed local facility, cutting down on longer journeys and meeting the needs of our community.

A hub of local produce.

As well as stocking the essentials, the community shop is proud to support local producers and they currently stock a range including fresh milk from Covington, Taylors of Biggar ice cream, eggs from Hillwood Farm and local Brose Oat milk.

Additionally, they stock fresh vegetables and herbs organically grown in their very own Community Garden. They are keen to extend their local produce range and work with new local suppliers.

Local crafts are also sold in the shop, and they welcome approaches from local crafters to promote and sell their goods.

Supporting their local Lanarkshire community.

Wat If? also run a takeaway café serving fresh coffee, tea and home-baking. In the future, they plan to expand their range of fresh meals.

Since the shop launched it has been a resounding success, making things a little easier for local customers who need to stock up on essentials or simply fancy a treat.

They are helping reduce food miles, helping to protect the environment and supporting local businesses at the same time. Their aim is to provide quality products and an amazing experience for their customers, and they encourage everyone to drop in for a coffee!
