Helping people in Lanarkshire make a contribution to their community.

Clydesdale Community Initiatives supports people in Lanarkshire facing barriers to inclusion.

CCI is a charity and social enterprise based at Langloch Farm in Lanarkshire where visitors can enjoy tea and cake at The Barn tea room, a walk through their nature trail and play area, or a browse in the gift shop and market garden selling CCI botanics, woodcraft, handmade chutneys and garden produce.

The Barn Tea Room.

Either before or after a browse in the gift shop, you can enjoy the exceptional homemade soups, sandwiches and snacks from The Barn Tea Room menu and indulge yourself with a piece of our exceptional home baking, all in the beautiful surroundings of Langloch Farm in Lanarkshire.

The Kitchen at Langloch Farm produces a scrumptious range of chutneys using local ingredients, many from the farm’s own growing areas, by the expert hands of their food groups. Their dedication to producing a top quality product can be tasted in every spoonful.

Award-winning social enterprise.

Based in Lanarkshire, Clydesdale Community Initiative's innovative and award winning Social Enterprises are all based on their core mission to enable anyone who would like to make a contribution to their community to do so with the support of their Placement Support Workers. Hence all production processes are carried out by their participants and volunteers.

CCI believes that individuals should be valued for their interests, abilities and contribution to their community and not defined by their disabilities, illness or disadvantage.

Their social enterprise model empowers individuals to learn new skills, improve their health and well-being and most importantly to see themselves (and be seen by others) as active members of their community.
